My piece Xí recently returned from the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County where it was included in the show MultiFaceted: Mixed Media & Connected Identities. It’s always great to be included in an exhibit, but this one was especially meaningful to me. Every piece in this show featured two or more artistic mediums - mine was oil on top of collage. But more importantly, each piece spoke to the idea of belonging to two or more identities, which deeply resonated with me. Xí is part of a series that specifically addresses the similarities in how the East and West define happiness, but it was moving to see how each artist expressed intersectionality, from gender identity to cultural background to chronic illness. I am grateful to show curator Daniel Ramirez-Lopez for including me, and if you're ever in Fayetteville, NC I highly recommend checking out the Arts Council.

2026 Calendars are Here!

I'm trying something new! I've created an 11" x 14" poster calendar for 2026. Each month is printed on the same high quality paper as my prints. All you need is a standard 11" x 14" frame for your desk or wall to display the current month.
